Job Overview :
The Solution Architect is responsible for the overall design, mapping of client business requirements and ensuring smooth project delivery. The role is required to work with clients to assess current state processes and tools, identify ServiceNow platform solution options, define ServiceNow solution requirements, determine and define integration requirements, and develop overall architecture and implementation plans.
◉ The ServiceNow Solution Architect is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow application within clients organisation and its commercial engagements.
◉ Also, the Solution Architect is responsible for ensuring the solution delivered is engineered in accordance with corporate architecture and infrastructure standards.
◉ He/she is in charge of driving the rollouts of new apps and modules, capable of enhancing configuration and workflows initiated within projects or change requests, works closely with ServiceNow Dev team to deliver successful solutions for internal and commercial stakeholders/customers.
Experience and Skills Required :
◉ Good understanding of industry standards and practices (e.g. TOGAF)
◉ Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, and JSON)
◉ Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
◉ Experience with governance/service management/operations
◉ Experience with ServiceNow ITSM implementations
◉ Experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITOM / CMDB solutions in ServiceNow environments
◉ Expert level proficiency in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management)/CMDB product line
◉ Experience in developing customized patterns, probes and sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping.
◉ Experience with CMDB and it operation management
◉ Experience with delivering technical workshops on ITOM: Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping
◉ Experience with ServiceNow ITOM implementations
◉ Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports
◉ Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
◉ Experience with implementing Software and hardware asset management
◉ Good knowledge of Software and hardware asset management processes
◉ Experience with configuration of SAM Pro integrations.
◉ Experience with configuring SAM Pro module.
◉ Experience with configuring and troubleshooting of discovery tools for Software Asset Management.
◉ Expert in advising SAM Pro processes and how they relate to the ServiceNow platform
◉ Expert in advising technical challenges and explain these to non-technical stakeholders
