Overview :
The ServiceNow Lead is responsible for leading and managing project teams. The role is required to work with architects or independently to implement ServiceNow solutions such as ITSM, CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping and ServiceNow Event Management.
Key Responsibilities :
◉ Responsible for leading and managing project teams, setting and evaluating people performance objectives and growing the team (recruiting and training), collaborating with ServiceNow teams across Europe
◉ Contribute to ServiceNow Solution implementation, according to your role in a project, which could include such activities as: system configuration, development of custom features on client and server side, technical consulting, technical specifications preparation, testing support, rollout support and others.
◉ Follow implementation standards and technical best practices.
◉ Provide expertise on technical questions, related to ServiceNow platform.
◉ Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes, and build this into the design and deliverables.
◉ Support sales of software and services through demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, and customer presentations
◉ Deliver projects on customer premise or remotely as required. Most engagements are remote.
◉ Enhance customer knowledge in IT Operations Management with ITIL v3 framework
Experience and Skills Required :
◉ Expertise and experience with ServiceNow ITOM products are required
◉ ServiceNow experience with discovery, service mapping, and configuration management (CMDB) is crucial
◉ Expertise with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, or Shell
◉ Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge
◉ Thorough knowledge and/or experience working with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)
◉ Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports
◉ Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
◉ ITIL knowledge with the ability to relate concepts to implementation strategies
◉ Experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITOM / CMDB solutions in ServiceNow environments
◉ Experience in developing customized patterns, probes and sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping.
◉ Experience with implementing Software and hardware asset management
◉ Experience with configuration of SAM Pro integrations.
◉ Experience with configuring SAM Pro module.
◉ Experience with configuring and troubleshooting of discovery tools for Software Asset Management.

◉ Excellent communications skills required – verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management as well as written with technical assessments and project related reports
◉ Engaging presentation style, with the ability to control and manage multiple presentation scenarios
◉ Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple campaigns at the same time
◉ Analyzes business requirements and develops technical requirements
◉ Lead and deliver requirements, scoping and design workshops, ensuring requirements are well documented
◉ Provide expert level support and technical mentoring to implementation team
◉ Support practice build efforts to include development of practice intellectual property (IP)
◉ Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept / Proof of Value engagements with prospects
◉ Support sales of software and services through demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, and customer presentations
◉ Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at Executive briefings/marketing events.
